Mend My Broken Heart

by My Decadent   Jun 4, 2007

The blackness of night folded around her weak body -
Loneliness making her feel like nobody...
Burning tears of failure dripping down her face
Rage building up inside - such a disgrace...

Tormenting screams inside her mind,
Hiding in this place that no one can find -
Want to be saved yet want to be alone,
In the end all she wanted was a home...

Flowers can't bloom in the dark they say,
But gloom of ignorance veiled her every day;
Maybe the sun can force its way through her heart -
You never put back together the pieces you took apart...

P.S.: No, it's not about a broken relationship, it's about a dear one's death.
