Death is an ugly toxin.

by MissAlyssaGraff   Jun 4, 2007

I know they're gone,
and you can't change the past.
It must be hard,
for what seems yesterday to be their last.

You must hear this all the time,
"They're in a better place now".
Bullcrap, they would've been better here.
All you can do now, is make a solid vow.

And a vow isn't enough,
a ressurection would be.
How good would it feel again,
to be actually free!

But in reality,
I know that would never happen.
It's like God has invented this,
deadly toxin.

And this deadly toxin will eventually take over the earth,
and stop the beautiful process that we call birth!

I'm not dissing god or anything,
everything happens for a reason.
But what is it?
Is it just an act of high treason?

I'm sorry god,
I just don't understand.
This thing we call death,
it's just not so grand.

Can't there be another way to keep the population under control?
Because this thing we call death,
it's hurting my soul.

Deadly toxin....deadly toxin....those words just sound so amazing! I could say them all day, (but I wont because people might think Im retarded) those two words alone make this poem dark and eery (sp). Awesome Poem! Keep it up!
