Stuck In The Moment.

by Teria   Jun 5, 2007

An addictive new feeling eating your flesh and bones,
boy what's the use? It's leaving you all alone.
You're stuck in a moment, a moment too soon.
Can't you see she's not ready to be with you?

The cupped chair holds her softly as she
tends to let it slip, " I can't, I just can't..be in love with you."
Oh, the overwhelming feeling causes you to tremble,
as you pretend to be so utterly humble.

How can it be that you've rapidly let it pass?
Her memories linger within the back of your mind,
Never letting them out, for you're way past the top.
You've overcome the silence that settles between,

She's too cold, she's too bare. baby, she's not there.
You know I love you, so why do you tend to run too far away,
searching for the shadows deep within your soul,
thinking they're all you have, but the truth you'll never know.
