In her fragile heart

Her heart filled with emotion
the welled up tears inside
the longing deep within her heart
she tries so hard to hide

memories flow inside her head
to a world that she once knew
when she once had a loving boy
who always got her through

but now the days are darkened
he makes the shadows grow
no matter what he does from now
she cannot let him go

and so she keeps on holding on
what else is there to lose
a life to live without him
a world she didn't choose
