Not much left

by isabel   Jun 5, 2007

What was sweet, now became dark
The kindness just fell apart
Not much left for me to say

Depression has changed my life
Forget thy world, take thy knife
Not much left of me, today

Empty of wisdom and of trust
In my soul, there's only dust
Not much left for you to see

Lost in love, I am a ghost
Sick of my own soul, almost
Not much left, because of thee

This poem was beautifully written... I liked the rhyme and the flow... And the emotion that you put into this master piece... Keep on writing and don't stop... I hope to read more of you work... :)

Excellently written, I like the rhyming and the flow of the poem. The repetition of "not much left" adds
really sad atmosphere to the poem. 5/5
