Life of a Flower

by BloodyEndings   Jun 5, 2007

Reaching faithfully to the sun
Garbed in golden robes, I stretch at dawn
To greet the morning new

A lifetime in one summer
Back bent and weak with age,
Glittering frost creeps into my weary bones

Shedding all ties to earth
The snow, my inevitable grave
I sleep once again

Very nice !!!I read your poem and found it quite an easy read and a pleasant piece. Keep up the good words. May the ebb and flow of your thoughts and emotions find a good spot to call home.
