Life Eternal

by Rahl The Layman Lord   Jun 5, 2007

An act of consequence, foreshadowing the unseen
Bestowing one's self into unknown's cold grasp
Safety's hollow voice echos from the void
An emptiness of the unsee-able
The unknowable pressing in
An entity void of emotion or thought
You can not reason with it
Nor blackmail whatever it might be
You can talk, coerce, plea
Consistency will greet you quietly
Act in knowledge of the truth
The truth that you will be met by life
Neither in agreement nor its twin
But by a cold, unfeeling indifference
Your life is what you make of it
Life for life's sake cares not
Life is independent, safe from the influence of man
Life is eternal and life will go on.
