Pain is Different

Pain is different than hurt
Hurt haunts the stomach, the head
Pain presses the throat, the chest
Like swallowing a too-big chunk
Of something rough
And jagged

Hurt can be erased, pushed away
By anything that overshadows it
Pain can only be eased by change

Pain and hurt don't have a lot in common.
But some people consider them one.

    Its not crap, I love how you contrasted the two, and I love how you expressed how they arent the same when people all over think that they are, I love it.
