My Friend

My friend

I see you every day.
Wandering who you are.
I see you in my dreams.
I see you in my art.

I cant figure out,
Who you might be.
I try to unlock the secrets,
But all I see is me.

I look into the mirror.
Theres no one there.
I touch the glassy feeling,
All I feel is bare.

When I forget about you,
I feel an empty space.
I dont know who you are,
And I cant see your face.

I have felt you there all my life,
Through the darkness and the light.
Even when I couldnt feel,
You made me feel so bright.

I do see you every day.
On the never ending end.
What once I called you me,
I now call you my friend.
