Faster and faster

Waiting and waiting
with tension growing
you make me so nervous
but i can't let go

my heart beating faster and faster
as the distance between us
grows smaller and smaller
but still i won't turn around

screaming and crying
my nerves pushing me to the edge
on to the verge of tears
but I'm still waiting

watching and waiting
my body shaking
my whole world gone silent
but still I'll stay awake

trying to let go
waiting to fall asleep
wanting to know less
but still i keep my grip

struggling and pushing
searching for another way
but still it stands
I'm seeing you today

as you appear
and i feel my heart begin to race
faster and faster
it's becoming more then i face

but suddenly it's gone
no more nerves
just a comfortable feeling
where every thing's gone

no chance to make this more
but you're not here
i can't be sure
exactly what was my biggest fear

you changed my life
i guess it was choice
now I'm with him
i don't know what else to think
