Don't Let Her Die

by Jay   Jun 6, 2007

This poem goes out to Regina...Your my strongest babe Reg...Don't give up...

As the emotionless face stares back,
I see what you will never see.
The darkened soul, the broken heart,
The scared face of reality.

This bleeding girl can see no exit,
As the rain just pours on in.
The clouds hang over for another day,
As the blade cuts through her skin.

She paints on her face of happiness,
As her pain sets in, but she doesn't cry.
She just changes costume for the next scene,
Don't you ever stop and wonder why?

This girl stays silent, but don't you hear her calls?
She lies in the dark, as her life has no moon.
She is screaming for a hero, a savior,
But you just live your life to a different tune.

For one split second her mask slips off,
Still she says she's happy, another perfect lie.
Please don't leave her, don't look away,
Coz she's waiting for the moment when you won't see her die.
