When your gone

by Sarah Badr and Ganima Elghourani   Jun 6, 2007

Ii sat there tossing and flicking my hair,
no one seemed to notice, no-one even seemed to care,

we were born to live, and we live to die,
when god wants me to go, it is then when I'll say goodbye,

it is here where you find me; here inside my shell,
in time I've realized this place will soon become my hell,

you tripped me and i was dumb enough to fall,
you played with my heart as if it was some ball,

you told me that we would last forever,
you promised me for all time we'll be together,

you told me you loved me to the moon and back,
those words make me realize, it's truth that you lack,

when you let me go, i went crazy, i went insane,
if only you realize, your the only thing that crosses my brain,

i still can't believe it happened, i need you by my side,
the pain and hurt that i go through , i just can't seem to hide,

those smiles and laughs that i tend to fake,
every time i hear your voice, i try my hardest not to shake,

you were my north, my south, my east, my west, my everything,
theres one moment that i dream of, the moment that you promised you'd propose with that gold diamond ring,

those memories we had from the day we met and till we parted,
you got to understand without you I'm lonely hearted,

memories are golden yet sadness is just a step away,
now I've realized nothing lasts forever, just expect the unexpected the very next day...
