Golden Tears Of An Angel

Golden Tears Of An Angel

My hand trembles,
As this life draws,
A breath of hatred,
With a mouth of claws,

A gown of whitish blue,
Lies fallen on the ground,
A feathered peaceful beauty,
Never to be found,

Maiming something pure,
As truth turns to gold,
Precious love of nothing,
As young turn to old,

Her skin turned to paper,
Her hair into dust,
A soul trapped in darkness,
As the world turns to lust,

Her dress forever fraying,
As sanity lets fall,
An angel lain in death,
And spirits were to crawl,

Golden tears now lost,
Among the winter sky,
Love lost in the lust,
And an angel was to die.

Amazing. The imagery was powerful and so visually perfected by your words. I liked this take on an angel who dies, because it wasn't cliche as a topic like this seems to be. I loved it, kudos.
