I went into town today
and i saw the strangest thing
a man with only one leg
it was then i started to think
how it broke my heart to see all what he had trouble with
i felt sorry for the poor guy
as it'd be a hard way to live
i really wanted to help him
but i knew there was nothing i could do
to make his life better
i felt myself being torn in two
when you see someone
that is less fortunate than you
don't point and laugh
as it will break their hearts too
some day you may be the one to help
the people that need someone to care
or you might be the person who
needs someone to be there for you
you may not feel the persons pain
but inside you know they hurt
for what they feel, you might not see
but you know they need your company
someone who needs someone
that wants a friend
they don't want people
to point them to their end
so next time you think your life sux
remember these people who are different from us
and they will remember you as someone who cares
as a friend, not someone who fears
their life ti come
and what it will bring
is someone like you
to be there for them...
