Our Relationship needs to mend. (true story)

by MissAlyssaGraff   Jun 6, 2007

This past week has been nothing but hell,
if you came to visit, it's not hard to tell.

Ally you're inconsiderate,
Ally you're a nobody.
My vision of your respect,
has just became muddy.

Our conversations always end up in an argument,
please god, tell me this isn't permanent!?

I'm sick of the threats and the lies,
she's always saying:
Go live with your dad! We'll say our goodbyes!

She says it's so I appreciate her more,
but it's just another reason for me to leave out the door.

She says she wants more time with her boyfriend,
but our relationship needs to mend!

It's time to set your priorities straight,
and stop concentrating on less important things,
like a date!

Yes it's true, I want you to be happy.
But isn't something else important?
Like your daughter named Ally!?

Whoever this Ally girl is,
she's got a lot on her plate,
Her future is in your hands,
and so is her fate.

You blame the situation on her,
while knowing it's you.
I know you think you're hurt,
but Ally is too!

Well I've had enough of this bullcrap,
our relationship is going down the drain.
So you better act quick,
or there's nothing to gain.

Oh no, A, thats so horribly terrible! Thats a true story? I am in awe! You took that tragic story and turned it into a beautiful poem! Man youre amazing! I like the word "muddy" truly a dirty word! I like how you used the word "mend" and said it so strongly that it makes me sad to think that it was to describe a relationship....geat poem!
