Nobody's Doll

People will dress me up
Only to tear me down
Talk and laugh behind my back
Whenever I'm not around

They tell me how to act
And what hings to say
Then get all offended
When I do things my way

Tell me how to do my hair
And they tell me who to like
Discover I have my own opinions
And act like it's such a fright

Tell me how to do my makeup
In which clothes to dress
Not seeming to realize
There's something I need to stress:

Complain all you want
Eventually you will see
Don't give a f u c k what you think
For I'm happy being me

You can label me a b i t c h
'Cause I say what's on my mind
Just 'cause I don't agree with you
Doesn't mean I'm blind

You can label me a loser
'Cause I do things my own way
Your 'hurtful' words to me
Are nothing but child's play

You can label me a bad friend
'Cause I say things to your face
At least I don't do it behind your back
What is your friendship, but a waste?

Used to think you might change
But this friendship has taken it's toll
It is about time you realized
I'm not your f u c k i n g barbie doll!

    That stanza was amazing truely emotional, the feelings of sadness/anger you portrayed were well written. This whole poem was really interesting definitly a 5/5 from me. I lost no interest what so ever reading this. ~mel
