Piercing stares and whispers
Giggles behind my back
Wanting your love and affection
Yet what I want from you, you lack

Vicious rumors abound
At the center of everyone's talk
Used to think I had you near me
But alone, I have to walk

Seems everyone knows my business
Even though I'm not sure what's going on
Thought I had an angel by my side
But now my only love has gone

People are telling me stories
Saying I should tell you where to go
because every time you cheat on me
I'm always the last to know

    This poem was great, the flow amazing and your word choice was powerful holding strong emotions which flowed beautifully throughout this entire poem. Im sure so many people can relate to this poem in different ways. Well done on the structure.

    That was my favorite stanza in this poem it was deep and heartfelt. Well done on a nicely penned poem which I enjoyed reading~mel
