Locked in time(child abuse)

All alone in the floor
where he sleeps at night
covered up with a blanket
as he holds to it tight.

Windows have no pains
he wishes the same
one got knocked out
he'll get the blame.

Wakes in the morning
sore from the floor
slapped side the head
didn't close the door.

Need to wash me
so I'll be clean
no time for that
she said real mean.

Make it to school
bus was running late
no time for food
just have to wait.

Go to my class
and take my seat
knot over my eye
proved I was beat.

Shattered look,torn clothes
was more than enough
kids all made fun
learned to be tough.

Pain in my heart
no child should feel
anger in my mind
make me wanna kill.

Life is better now
least in my mind
memories of my past

    I think this sums up the whole situation.

    "Pain in my heart
    no child should feel"

    No child should ever feel this hurt, emotional or physical. I cant imagine anyone enduring this and getting through it. Your poems are so painfully truthful that it can be atorture to think of a child going through this. Its really hard to think of a small innocent child being treated this way it makes me so confused, mad and frustrated. (5/5)

    This tears my heart. Parts of your story remind me of someone I know. A little boy who is very close to my heart. Thank God he is out of this situation now. Excellent write.

    Aww, very sad. everytime i read these poems i feel so bad that you had to endure these things. but you made it thrugh it thank god and you are the sweet person that you are today!
