Deep dark sky the moon is shining bright
the stars are twinkling with shining light
a beautiful scene on a warm summer night
capturing my soul and holding it tight
My eyes have wondered through this galaxy phase
reminiscing on precious days
I picture myself flying through this beautiful sky
knowing its not the end, that it will never be goodbye
Falling stars dazzle as they fall down to earth
with a blink of an eye the feeling takes away my hurt
Fantasy rising invading my mind
alone on my porch getting lost in time
Trying to escape the fire that burns around me
hoping to escape reality and live in fantasy
My eyes now watered, falling tears enough to feel the ocean
Once again a victim of loves deep potion
Only the stars and the moon are my comfort for the night
only a nice pretty scene has captured my sight
replacing the painful thoughts flowing in my head
the night sky speaks to me now, erasing everything you've said
