One Year

I had no idea what i truly desired

what i was inside and what i wanted.

you came along you held me in your arms

you looked me in the eyes and told me I'm the one

my mind went all crazy my heart jumped up and down

and then my frown turned around

a year its been and we've been through a lot

bad times good times rough time and all

we held on to each other and our love continued to grow

now is the time that i wish to let you know

I've never felt this strong about anyone in my life

I've never felt this strong about myself my heart my future

I've never known the distance i could go

the achievements that i had always been to accomplish

then you came along

you showed me strength you held my hand and gave me that extra push

you were the one who gave it all to me and now i can tell

that id be nothing without you.

now i can tell i have a bright future ahead of me

now i know that i have your love and that i give you all mine

and i know that nothing can bring us down because we're meant to be

and nothing will draw between us because we understand each other

you understand my love and my dreams

i understand yours and your priorities
