What am I doing?

by Mara   Jun 6, 2007

What am I doing?
He's going out with my best-friend
I care to much about her
These feelings have to end

But I can't help it
My emotions run wild
This is what they call puppy love
But I know how I feel, I'm not a small child

When I see him in the hallway
My heart gives an extra beat
I can't wait to be near him
Just a couple extra feet

But then my friend appears
And he embraces her in his arms
She is entwined in his love
And has fallen for his charm

If only he was mine
I ask that everyday
But they are in love
Or at least thats what they say

So I have to push my feelings aside
And I have to control my emotions
But being in his presence
Is being taken by a love potion
