Pissed off poem

by Katran   Apr 20, 2004

I'm a skater
That's what I am
I wear a chain
And baggy pants

I have black nails
A ring in my nose
And the hole in my Etnies
Shows my toes

I'm treated as
A lower class
But people like that
Can kiss my ass

But it's amazing how
At my school
To all my teachers
I'm at the bottom still

I do all my homework
I get good marks
I'm polite and kind
But still I'm a lower class

Apparently it's just a stage
That I am going through
But even if it is
What is it to you?

Why should I have to be
Something that I'm not?
I don't want to be another Barbie
With her panties in a knot

I shouldn't have to change me
If I want to pass my class
I shouldn't get constant lectures
From members of the staff

You wonder why I hate school so much
It's because you won't leave me be!
My chain doesn't affect my brain
Why can't you see?

I haven't done anything wrong
I'm not a bully; I'm not doing drugs
I'm not skipping school, I'm not swearing
God damn it I've had enough!

Nothing gives you the right
To hold me back during lunch
I wasn't aware that having an opinion was a crime
I'm sorry, I won't speak up

I can't believe my skateboard is worse than
Girls who are swearing thugs
Girls who don't get good marks
And girls who are doing drugs

Skateboarding isn't a crime
Neither is wearing a chain
I'm aloud to be me
So back off OK!?

I am me
That's who I am
But you blond bimbos
Just don't understand
