Daddy Where'd You Go?,,

Mummy where has Daddy gone?
Will he be here for tea?
He said that if i was really good,
He'd read me a bedtime story.

''Come on you, lets get you to bed.''
You said as it turned eight o'clock
I ran upstairs and jumped in bed.
Awaiting for his knock.

My bedroom door began to open
As i sat holding my bear,
daddy's not coming honey,''
daddy just does not care!''

As Mummy left the room
i snuggled down to go sleep
holding my teddy so tightly
Another promise you did not keep

Dad if you can hear me..
Why did you have to go?
You left that night,
Now you, ill never know

I am seventeen years old now,
And cant even picture your face,
You didn't even say goodbye
Just vanished without a trace...
