I Just Thought You Should Know

by Sorefromreality   Jun 6, 2007

I thought you should know
You aren't making this easy
I want you to know
How much I hate it when you tease me

Isn't it hard enough on me,
To know you never even cared?
But you have to push the knife in more
And deepen every rip and tear

I thought you should know
You're still constantly on my mind
I wanted to tell you
I dream about you all the time

Why can't you make this easier,
And just rip out my f**king heart
Why didn't you just tell me the truth,
That you'll never love me,
from the start

I thought you should know d@mn well
That you still haunt me everyday
I wanted to tell you something
To go the hell away!

I thought you had the right to know,
the right to know the truth.
The right have the knowledge that,
I'm still in love with you

Honestly, I don't think this is the best poem you've written, but it's still good never the less. The flow was a bit rocky at times, but the emotion portrayed was penned well. I can relate to this a lot, as many people would be able to. Great write.

    Much love,
