When dawn and Dusk Collide

by Polaroid   Jun 7, 2007

People whisper behind our backs
Saying that this will never last
They think that we are too young
To love each other like we've done

I used to think they spoke the truth
But that was before we met at the spruce
That was before, oh how I miss
That was before, before the kiss

Your deep hazel eyes en-locked in mine
And our hearts they were intertwined
We were one, me and you
And oh how we loved each other so

This is no dream, no this is real
As real as copper, iron and steel
We love each other and we always will
This will last forever, Until

Out eyes, one last time close
'Till blue sky dawn and Burnt dusk
Collide and take this world
Leaving nothing but us

Bery nice.. Some stanzas contained very strong words and phrases... nice depth and emotion and pretty good rhyming...
One thing I found a bit dragy was the cooper iron an steel part...
But you did suceed in draging me back into the poem so there is no significant flaw really...
