Destiny

by Hatori   Jun 7, 2007

No longer can I lie,
Nor can I deny,
This feeling I'm enveloped in,
Surely it's not a sin.

When I saw you,
My heart knew for sure,
I fell in love,
Not knowing it was untrue.

Laying in bed,
At the darkest hour,
Thinking of you,
With many wonders.

Do you actually exist,
Or is that also a lie?
Could I ever find,
The one I think about every night?

When I think about you,
Do you think about me,
If so, could it be true,
That if we met,
It was destiny?

Your writing is so intricate and so well done. A gift is surely what you have. I love how you included destiny in this piece. I love the word destiny and what it means. I always love how you set up your poems, and how you put your thoughts down in a productive manner. Very smart and crafty. I loved this poem and great job!!
