Changes

Who can believe it
Its been so long
But still right now
It feels so wrong

For better or worse
Things change with time
Am I who I should be
I'm just like a mime

So good at imitating
Who am I now?
Things done so different
Am I just a clown?

My mind hasn't changed
I still feel bad
Life hasn't looked up
Hasn't changed a tad

The drinks are new
But just wash away
The pain that I feel
Day after day

I may never get it
It's all in my head
But dying alone
Is all that I dread

I wish I knew
The future that's present
But all that I know
Is love that isn't meant

When can I get it
Maybe I blew it long ago
There's so little left
I'm just living a show
