Ghost Love

by Kyra   Jun 7, 2007

I watched. I was just a viewer,
As time passed them by.
I saw the way they looked at each other,
And I admired the way they would try;

They tried to hide their love.
To never let it show.
One hid it from the other,
And the other felt its blow.

It pained me to watch this,
But I had to let it pass.
I knew what it was doing to them,
As they tried not to smile and laugh.

They didn't want to tell people,
But they couldn't make it stop.
Their love, it grew and grew,
And it wasn't gonna drop.

Eventually it got too much,
Until they could hide no more.
All that did was make things worse,
As their families screamed and tore.

They tore their love from their hearts,
They tried to make it stale.
But the love they had just hid away,
It left without a trail.
