Liar

by Chelsey   Jun 7, 2007

And the award for best liar goes to
theres no competition its definitely you
because you've lied and cheated
and ran when the fights got heated
our love was a battle waiting to be lost
of course you won your hearts as cold as frost
Everything you said to me
was just a desperate plea
if you wanted to get rid of me
you could have there wasn't a fee
no price to pay
All i wanted was for you to stay
but i understand we all need our time
cuz it seems to me that loving you was a crime
our love was never Dior
And I've realized i don't need you, you liar.

What a beautiful heartfelt piece. i loved the emotion and depth you portrayed in this piece. the similies you used added for a powerful effect on the overall piece. you opened this beautifully and it just got better as it went along. flow was good throughout as was the imagery. i loved the ending line, i found it to be very intense and hardhitting.
