Nobody's Listening (To You)

by Sarah Ann   Jun 7, 2007

Nobody's listening (to you)
Dear girl, so shriveled in time
Have you madly lost your mind?
Nobody wants to hear your story
Of no hero, love nor glory

Nobody cares what you will say
And yet you whisper anyway
Of the blackened, promised skies
And the many dreadful guys
That have you hanging on a string

That's the thing,
No body gives.
Does your existence even live?
In this hopeless, world of stone
How much love can one heart own
You're never satisfied, it's true.
No body's listening to you.

Cries forever remain unheard,
Your lips always go back on word
The cold bucket of water is high
And your sewn heart has run dry
Dreamer, what are you dreaming for?
No body listens Anymore.

It's a shame when people stop listening to your dreams, it can be so discouraging.... a powerful message is written within your words, well done once again my sweet!

I love this poem. It's kinda ironic cos just a few days ago someone told me, there's no use in complaining about life cos no one listens anymore. And this poem really tied everything up. A very amazing and true write. 5/5
