Grandparents

by Mousie   Jun 8, 2007

Wise words, soft smiles;
Gentle touch, keen intent.
Path they've traveled left behind;
Future will only walk it again.
Footprints of their children
Embedded in their mind;
Smiles of their grandchildren
Prevalent all the time.
Grandma and Grandpa,
God's greatest gift.

    I really like the ending. I think it was perfect. Vocab was great, Flow was smooth throughout the poem. Good choice of words. another 5/5! keep writing!

    Wow dear, this was a great and unique poem, i remember reading it before but i dont know why i didnt left a comment. maybe because i was crying reading it, as myself i have never experienced the love of grandparants.
    I wish i meet them before they leave this life, as i have been living far from them since i was three years old. i never saw them, that is why most of the time i feel like i really need their love.

    again, this poem of yours really inspired me and im so proud of you that you remember your grantparants as not everyone is nice like you to remember them.
    if i could i would have given you 100 rather than a 5/

    I loved the poem because most people don't realize how important grandparents are, we often take them for granted. Excellent job with this piece, great flow and word choice as well, the words were very heartfelt 5/5
