Fate.

My perception of love has been shattered.

I watch you walk away with no intentions of healing the wounds you left behind.
I then begin to realize, i fell for every empty word and every empty touch for the last time.

Contemplate the happiness,
Let it eat at your soul.
Because for once in your life,
for once... you felt whole.
But you gave your heart away too quickly,
Just to get it thrown back in your face.
Why dream so big and wish so hard,
When nothing comes at a steady pace?
The dreams fall to pieces,
And the wishes shatter fast.
You watch your fate drip down the drain,
You watch your life crumble at last.
