Who to Look After You

by Weeping Wolf   Jun 8, 2007

If I don't do this soon, I will go insane
If I don't say this now, I know I'll break
The beguiling question of whether its real or fake
Where is the barrier, its too much to take.

Tell me, whats the value of tears?
Oh, whats the gain of wide-eyed fears
Even when you ask, i don't know what to do
How to say I want to look after and love you.

How to react, when you call on me
Then sigh and tell me that she
is missed, in the back of your mind
But Cupid's cursed arrows, they say blind
Only left to dream of yours as mine.

Its strange and sad, to want you more than home
But at least not for now, I am no ones to own
I grasp to contemplate if this is even right
But we agree to want each other to hold at night.

Tell me, whats the value of tears?
Oh, whats the gain of wide-eyed fears
Even when you ask, i don't know what to do
How to say I want to look after and love you.

So few in my heart that come and don't go
Will you or won't you, I may never know.
You don't even know the depth of my lachrymose
Yet still you say it, unaware of my eternal remorse.

Oh, be mine be mine
Just let go, and you'll be fine
because I'll take care and look after you.
Ya, I could be the one to look after you.

This was an amazing poem. The flow was brilliant and as smooth as could be. I also loved how the poem could be felt by the reader just by the word choice and sentence structure. You have written some great poems and this is one of the best. 5/5.
