3 O Clock

by Jenni Marie   Jun 8, 2007

Sitting here alone bored
Idly spinning on my chair
No one to talk to, nothing to do
Time to fix my makeup and hair

Flicking slowly through TV channels
Rolling my eyes in annoyance and despair
Boredom has such a tight grip on me
Forced to watch Goldilocks and the three bears

Staring angrily at the clock
Beginning to think it has stopped
Letting out a sigh of frustration
Discovering it says the same as my watch

Next I'm getting yelled at
For doodling on the notepads
Only one thing is for certain
When 7o clock arrives I'll be glad

Playing games on my phone
Writing things on my hands
How is it possible to be this bored
Can anyone help me understand?

Spinning faster and faster
Landing on my butt on the floor
Pearls of laughter escaping
Everyone saw this through the door

Not only am I dying of boredom
But now my butt kind of hurts
Wonder if tomorrow will be more eventful
Than my first day at work!
