A Shadow

by Reminders Torture   Jun 8, 2007

She is scared to be alone.
no-one to save her from pain.
she is so terrified of her,
what the future will entail.

she'll be forever in this miserable,
state.the doors are slamming.
and the glasses are breaking.
and shes falling with no delay.

she lies on her bed,screaming,
on her head, pain will be with her,
never leaving,and it goes with,
with her everywhere,like a shadow.

Very well worded poem with nice feelings in it. Your metaphors are really catching and the lexical power is lucid. 5/5 piece

    I loved how this flowed.
So fast and powerful, the words were like barbs..

    "she lies on her bed,screaming,
on her head, pain will be with her,
    never leaving,and it goes with,
    with her everywhere,like a shadow."

    And an excellent ending.
    Well done m'dear
