Broken

by Cola   Jun 8, 2007

The pain in your eyes
Fills me up with grief;
As sad as a teardrop,
As broken as a fallen leaf.

The way you torture yourself,
For the nothing you have done;
I can't see a glint of hop,
I must go hide your gun.

Your torture is dedicated to me,
What I said a mistake;
Telling you that has broken your soul,
From this trance you must awake.

I cause you too much pain,
To see your broken smile;
I must end my life for you,
You might be sad for a while.

In the end it will help you,
You must forget about me;
When I am gone you will be happy,
Our friendship could never be.

I love your caring gestures,
The way you look at me;
You will never know my love for you,
You shall never see.

    I really liked this poem; the more you read it the sadder it gets, but is still great
    very well done 5/5
