Your Love

by Benjamin Ishmael   Jun 8, 2007

You say you love me
You say that it is true
You say that you want me
You say you want me to want you

All these things that you ask of me
I can give you without any questions
My love has grown into something so great
To have you in my arms is such a wonderful fate.

All this time that we have spent together and shared
The days have added up to become more than unforgetful
I know what I want from you and I ask if it is true
You wanted me to love and have it be with you

We talked about our future together
I sat back and dreamt of what I could see
You wanted to know what I could offer you
Now I feel as though we may never be

The words that come from your open mouth
Are more great than what I hear when alone
The thought of eternal bliss while sitting here
I am afraid that it will never be known.

Know that I always loved you with all my heart
I was the one that never wanted us to be apart
I will be here with you until the day will come
When you and I can eventually unite and become one

Listen as I say this to you
Every word spoken is completely true
You asked questions about my love
And my love is only you
