Dad please listen to my call
just once
you want me to be happy
but i can't
please don't get upset when i cry
i am being myself
trying to be happy
please dad say you are proud of me
so i know you are proud of me
too many scars so many tears
ill grow out of my pain someday, i promise
please listen to my call, just once please....

    This is such a sad, emotional poem, with great use of repetition. flow could be better, but overall, this was really heartfelt and well written.
