Nobody's Child Part II

by Rachel RTVW   Jun 9, 2007

Created a life then they locked her away
A playpen where she spent most every day
Nobody's child free to roam and to learn
Providing for her not her parent's concern

She laughs and she runs smiles now show
Rescued from neglect nobody could know
Diapers changed now, hair shiny and sleek
Nobody's child is finally learning to speak

Shots are caught up prescriptions were bought
She now has the love that her little heart sought
Nobody's child with skin as snow white
Crystal blue eyes now glisten so bright

Endless tears coming as torrents they fall
Her Mom or Dad haven't bothered to call
Softly I whisper "sweet baby I'll always be near"
Nobody's child is mine now she belongs here
