Been holding onto it so long
Made sure to keep a tight grip
Was adamant I'd never let go
Now my grip is starting to slip

Clutching as hard as possible
Seems this is to no avail
Darting quickly out of reach
From my hold, it wants to bail

My heart is on a mission

Ecstatic at finally getting free
