Love You, Hate You

by Lindsay   Jun 9, 2007

I hate it how
You treat your friends
I hate it when
Your kindness ends

I love it when
In halls we meet
I love it how
You smile sweet

I hate it how
I will surrender
I hate the way
Love's your defender

I love it when
You laugh and smile
I love it how
I fake it all the while

I hate the way
It's for her you care
I hate it how
It's at me you stare

I love it how
You bring me back
I love the way
It's friends you lack

I hate it how
I believed your lies
I love it how
The true you's in your eyes

The arrangement of the stanzas really creates a dramatic contrast between the i hate and i love, you can feel the conflict you feel and it emits such passion and confusion.
