The Night Wolf

by NightWolf117   Jun 10, 2007

He lives in us all, both the young and the old,
and yet his is a story, thats never been told.
He is unseen, unheard unknown,
forever you've fed him, and forever he's grown.

He is the fear, haunting your mind,
the crippling doubt, you cant leave behind.
He is the fury, the rage in your heart,
the lingering darkness, when your world falls apart.

He is the Night Wolf, the bane of all life,
his howls cut deeper, than the blade of a knife.
He is a darkness, banished by no light,
you'll never be rid of him, try as you might.

He is eternal, forever he'll stay,
crouching in shadows, stalking his prey.
So in the end, all you can do,
is pray the Night Wolf, doesn't stalk you.
