Arrow through the heart

Burning fear,
Shoots the arrow into the mind and heart,
Stops the beating,
Stops the starting,
Freezes time.

No words are said,
No tears are shed,
Nothing,
Just emptiness.

The arrow that pierced her heart,
Silenced her thoughts,
Stopped her soft sweet breath.

Darkness overwhelelmed every corner,
The light was drained from her face,
And she lay,
With her last thought being,
