Stupid Lies

by rocker666chick   Jun 10, 2007

I used to think I was right,
but I was wrong,
at one time I thought I was strong,
but found out I didn't belong.
I felt out of place,
I thought that it was because of my race.
but it wasn't,
it was just the way I was,
from the very start.
When we were young we were together,
now we split apart.
I'm not going to change if that's what you think,
I like who I am even if you try to make me sink.
I won't go low,
but I will stay high,
so I can see you go unlucky and
have a kid with your very first guy.
I will laugh,
not feel pity or care for you.
You know I won't,
so don't even try,
cause you are a stupid lie.

It was oretty sorrowful and touching..I loved how you expressed a friend in your words
    My fave lines should be;

I'm not going to change if that's what you think,
I like who I am even if you try to make me sink.

    Keep it up,

Good poem. The flow was good and I liked the word choice. I gave it a 5/5.
