Just Friends

I remember the day,
when i first met you.
We had so much fun,
i couldn't get enough of you.

From that day on,
we always hung out.
You were my best friend,
without a doubt.

You had a fade,
and your style was tight.
You had glasses,
but you looked so right.

You were really cool,
and id laugh at whatever you say.
We had a special bond,
that was made in just one day.

I really trusted you,
and told you all my secrets.
I knew without a doubt,
that you would keep it.

Then one day,
i couldn't stop thinking of you.
I was so confused,
and i didn't know what to do.

I thought for a few moments,
then i knew i was in love.
You were the exact person,
that i have been dreaming of.

The more we hung out,
the more i fell in love with you.
But the entire time,
you never knew what i felt for you.

Whenever you touch me,
the room starts to spin.
It makes me so happy,
to feel the touch of your skin.

Then one day,
i finally told you.
I expressed my love,
and all my feelings for you.

It took you by surprise,
then you were speechless.
I was so embarrassed,
and i became breathless.

You told me you loved me,
but only as a friend.
i said i understood,
cause i didn't want our friendship to end.

I really don't care,
that thats all we are.
Because i know,
our friendship will go far.

But no matter what,
i love you still.
Not because your cute,
but because your so real.

You were so much more,
than a nice body.
You were sweet and caring,
to just about anybody.

Sometimes i get sad,
because your not mine.
But you always tell me,
everything is just fine.

Whenever I'm with you,
it feels like in in heaven.
