World of words

by shadowknight   Jun 10, 2007

I slowly rose,
late in the night,
careful not to wake a soul,
i took out my tools of trade,
and began to work.

With my pen and paper,
words began to flow,
i lost control,
my words lost meaning.

I wrote my heart,
i wrote my soul,
my words found beauty,
as my spidery writing,
sprawled across the page.

Slowly forming into music,
the words sung to me,
they spoke of greatness,
they spoke of death,
they yelled,
they screamed.

They were me,
it was my music,
my song,
my feelings,
and my life.

The sun set day after day,
and my magic took place,
the magic of words.

I didnt tell a soul,
never showed my work,
no one knew of my adventures,
no one knew of my world.

The world i created,
out of words,
the world of my soul,
the world of my tears.
