Thee Love of Day and Night

by HiddenPoet   Jun 10, 2007

Thee day is bright
As love draw near
and peace does fill thee air.
Unknown to hatred,
do we not fear
for we be never alone.
And, by peace upon
the true route is shown
and none does cloud our way.
As love adds love,
power binds to stay;
an unbroken chain.
But, my love does hides
as the calmness subsides.

Thee day grows dull
as she goes away
and night now does fall.
Shadows deep now does creep
break hearts in their way;
shatter the fallen love.
But, I remain unchanged
for I shelter from harm
thee feelings from above.
Deeply safe contained,
protected by the soul,
feelings opened and refound.
Now, allow love to show;
prechallenged, it does still grow.

In thee morning of next,
Love's joys revived
and shared again.
But, in joy remember
the struggle past
in the pursuit of love.
Hold close to love
and feel its warmth,
but do not bitter it with lust.
Defend your hearts
for clubs and spades try to strike them,
allow them not.
Enjoy and protect love
for it is a gift from thy dove.

    This is a really good poem, but i'm confused about the whole thee thing. thee means you, but you seemed to use it in place of the. was it just for pronunciation emphasis? anyway, this writing is beautiful!
