Against the Grain

by Lyndsay Kalyta   Jun 10, 2007

Fighting people
I've loved before
Hurting too badly
To care anymore

Tenderly breaking
I'm dying inside
Hating emotions
I can no longer hide

Living for wrong
But waiting for change
Hoping for good
That it will rearrange

Teardrops falling
Creating rain
Tired from running
Against the grain

    "Tenderly breaking

that stanza stands out the most...because its human nature to not want to show emotion, to hide that we are actually hurt, because we believe it to be a weakness..and that stanza captures that brilliantly...great work - hang in there
