Screamin' Whispers (Triquatrain)

by Jenni Marie   Jun 10, 2007

Hearing footsteps behind, yet when she turns there's nothing to find
Cruel antagonising wind whipping back her hair
Goosebumps along her arms, no longer remaining calm
Sensing someone's evil piercing glare

Sweat trickling down her face, wanting to be out of this place
Heart now beating frantically in her chest
Running as fast as she can, feet tripping as she ran
Brambles and branches tearing up her dress

Grabbed and thrown hard to the ground, hitting the floor without a sound
Blood streaming down her pale sunken cheeks
Suddenly overcome with pain, feeling like she's going insane
No longer feeling strong but weak

Pinning her arms behind her back, reassurance is what he lacked
As he forced his lips on her's roughly kissing her
Nothing could be heard, not a single word
Nothing but a screaming whisper
