Night Of Evil

by Harley   Jun 11, 2007

Silent as a babe asleep in its crib,
is thee, Oh night with no moon.
No owls to hoot, or bats to screech,
not even the howls of wolves seemed to breech.
Darkness and cold seemed to be nights company as fog rose in patches here and there,
and chills would be sent up spins from the feeling in the air.
Hearts would race from fear of doom,
as clouds of death still loom.
Midnight passes as the clock tolls one,
Breaking the spell of silence that night hath wroth on.
Thou seems safe now that thy savior bell has rung,
but thou art mistaken, that was only the beginning from what night has brung.
Thou is feeling clammy and looks ghostly pale,
and you hath felt a prick in your chest like that of a nail.
You feel possessed by demon spirits that surround,
evil is now all around.
You feel yourself being ripped limb from limb,
as the light from the fog doth dim.
You are alone in this evil place,
and hath come face to face,
with evil.
